to you, is the lowest possible price available, based on the same scope,
specifications, and operation procedures.
This guarantee
is designed to protect the homeowner from making a buying decision solely on
price without truly understanding the specifications they are receiving for
their dollars.Scudder Roofing is
so confident that our specifications are superior to our competitors, we back
it up in writing.
This price
guarantee is valid if an authorized representative of Scudder roofing has the
opportunity to view the competing proposal to determine its validity and
proposed specifications. The
representative will make the comparison based on the price, materials used, and
craftsmanship.Additionally, he
will compare contractor qualifications and operations, job scope and size, and
production dates.
In the event you
chose to request other proposals, you must receive these within ten days from
the date of our proposal.
Scudder Roofing
will review and determine of the validity of the other proposal(s) upon
receipt. If it is determined that
the project is an exact match to the Scudder proposal, Scudder will refund your
10% deposit immediately, or adjust our specifications to meet the
competitors’.
This guarantee
is only valid if the owner signs up for the project at the time of the initial
sales call visit and Scudder roofing has received the 10 % deposit at that
time.The owner still has the right to use the three-day resending notice
procedure.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

CONTRACTOR
- Must
be qualified and have a current manufacturer certification or approved
applicator status, with a minimum of two roofing material manufacturers.
¨
CONTRACTOR
- Must
be currently licensed in the township where the work will be performed. Must have an established place and shop
of business. (Working out of a vehicle or residence does not qualify.) Must have a minimum of five
full-time employees. A copy of
Contractor’s License is proof.
¨
CONTRACTOR
– Must
carry minimal insurance of $ 2,000,000.00 (two million dollars) Public
Liability Insurance, Approved Worker’s Compensation Insurance, and all
applicators must be drug tested.
Copy of paid Insurance Certificate is proof.

CONTRACTOR
- Must
have direct control over workforce and cannot “broker” the roofing
to subcontractors. Workforce must
be made up of employees who are paying taxes through the contractors’
payroll. Identification of
personnel and payroll taxes is proof.

CONTRACTOR
– Must
submit
exact specifications on materials and installation methods, including
manufacture’s name, gauge, weight, and warranty. Contractor must be able to qualify for
and provide the owners with the manufacturer’s long term warranty. Contractor’s documents must
comply with both local and federal contract laws to protect the consumer.

documentation and training.
